This was my first official engagement session done in my new hometown of Rochester – and Oxbow park was absolutely magical! Jeff and Theresa are the nicest couple and Oxbow has significant meaning to them because it’s where they were married a couple weeks after this session (pics to come soon)!
Madi and Mike are basically the two coolest people you’ll ever meet. Not only because they have great taste in music, food and culture, but because they were also so patient waiting for this blog because their wedding was in February – ha! Really truly, we couldn’t have asked for a better day through and through. Everything was at the Raddison Blu Hotel and we were lucky enough to land on a freakishly warm day in February (I think it was 60’s?) so we were able to go outside for some pictures. Yay!
The black/gray wall outside of the hotel not only provided us with easy lighting, but was the perfect palette and look for the style of their wedding.
Madi is GORGEOUS and looks fierce in this photo!
Madi’s veil fell out and I have to admit – sometimes the “oops” part of a wedding day make for some of the most memorable and cute moments. Isn’t that photo adorable?
Thank you to my brave assistant Karin for snapping this nice photo of the Raddison… I’m sure she was probably standing on a median or something to grab this. That’s dedication! :) Note the ring shot highlighting the Amy Winehouse song selection. See, I told you they have great taste in music!
The dance floor was packed!
Madi and Mike, you two have been the BEST EVER and I cannot thank you enough for everything!!!
A dramatic slow clap for this team of vendors!

I’m excited to share Kellie and Ryan’s engagement photos! It was a chilly November afternoon (which, relatively speaking, is funny to say as I type this in February) but they were champs with powering through the colder weather. Thanks so much for a fun afternoon and I look forward to your wedding this summer! :)
I was the lucky photographer who got to celebrate bringing in the 2016 new year with Elizabeth and Jason! I joked that I’m used to Ryan Seacrest and cream cheese dips on my new years… so this was a bit of a step up! Both Ceremony and Reception were at the Lafayette Club. A big thank you to Nicolle with Mother of the Bride wedding planning for helping to put together such an amazing event!
What an incredible end to 2015!
