Kelsey & Dale engagement

Brrrrrrrrrrr!!!!  haha  Winter engagement sessions.  I really love them- the snow adds something so pretty to the images.  I’m not going to lie though, it’s COLD! :)  Kelsey and Dale were champs and totally pulled it off.   I prepared for the session with some extra layers, a stocking cap, and my warmest winter coat.  Walking next to these two who dressed for a photo session, I totally felt like this scene from Dumb & Dumber.

Snowing!!!!  Perfect timing for our session.  We were trying to plan it around pretty snowfall and we lucked out.  Thank you, Minnesota!

For part two of our session we went to Grand Avenue.  I love the classic uptown aesthetic.

It was also Kelsey’s birthday that day – so we stopped at Wuollet’s Bakery for some cupcakes.  :)  Such a cute sequence of images!   Silly/embarassing moment of the day – Kelsey and Dale sat in the bakery waiting for me to arrive.  I had to parallel park in front of the bakery… and they witnessed the whole thing from inside.  Me + parallel parking = not a great mix.  It took a while, but I do have to say that the end result was pretty great if I do say so myself!

Pure happiness coming at you, in the two images below!

The image on the right – a celebration for the finale of our session.  We did it!  :)  A warm cup of tea and a dry pair of socks were in our future.   Thank you so much, Kelsey and Dale.  I couldn’t be happier working with a couple like you!

  • Michelle - Betsy-you are one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet, and AMAZINGLY talented!!! You can see that your heart goes into the work that you do. This is a natural God given talent, it cannot be taught. This is why I refer clients to you when I am already booked, and my own sister in law when she was looking for someone to photograph her wedding. :) So happy you were available for her date!!ReplyCancel
