Amy and John celebrated their wedding on Valentines Day in the classic setting of downtown St. Paul at 413 on Wacouta. A big thank you to Shellee with Lula-ru for planning such a beautiful event. The flower girl was full of personality and definitely not shy of the camera – we got such a kick out of her!
Let me take a moment to tell you all that Amy, John, and the bridal party are champions. This day – was cold. Not just normal Minnesota winter cold, but so-bitter-cold-it-hurts, with a high of 5, and windy. We did most of the photos indoors, but we couldn’t resist going outside for a small while to use this fun, urban alley setting. High fives to everyone for being so great.
The flower girl brought the rings down tied to this family heirloom Bible. So sweet.
This is a “Betsy-nods-and-drops-the-mic” moment. Amy danced with her grandfather, and I just love this image. What a great moment and important photo.
Time for a sidebar discussion – CANDYLAND Chicago Mix popcorn for the guests on the way out. SO SO GOOD. Like seriously, soooo good.
Up to the balcony for a beautiful city light portrait. Remember, it was probably 0 degrees right now, but they powered through it! Thank you Amy and John for inviting me to be a part of your wedding day!
Cheers to the vendors who helped to create this magical event!

I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to bring in the end of my 2014 wedding season with. Emily and Ben celebrated their marriage with ceremony at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Excelsior and party to follow at Hazeltine National Golf Club. They have a cutie-pie son, George, and my saying that day was that it’s impossible to have too many pics of George! :) Enjoy the pics! I typically never blog the formal photos (even though I think they are very important), but I couldn’t resist this time. George was a champion during family photos – giving us his “magnum” look the whole time! :) … back at Hazeltine….
High fives all around for the team of vendors who made this day magical:

I am so excited to share images from Emily and Luke’s wedding! Everything on this day was perfection- the sweetest couple, beautiful setting, and great family and friends. See their wedding video here! Ceremony at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with reception at Wayzata Country Club.
An emotional father/daughter moment…
Emily and Luke did a “first look” moment where they exchanged letters and gifts.
We had a beautiful setting and directional window light, I was excited we had the time to swing a few portraits here. My favorites because they are so classic.
St. Mark’s is one of my favorite places for a ceremony – it photographs beautifully.
All of the guests gathered on the steps immediately following the ceremony – hurray!
And as always, a big thank you to a great team of vendors:

Emily and Doug were married at Orchestra Hall – the day was filled with so much fun, love, and celebration with family and friends. Enjoy the photos!
All of the bridesmaids are Emily’s sisters!
The ceremony was in the atrium, where sunlight filled the room through the floor to ceiling windows. This is one of the most gorgeous Chuppahs I’ve ever seen – modern and elegant.
Married – yay!!!!
Ceremony followed by a cocktail hour…
A sweet moment between the newlyweds right after the ceremony.
I loved this – Emily and Doug were announced into the reception by trumpet fanfare!
A fancy s’mores bar for guests to enjoy during the party (YUM!)
Allana and Justin were married at Carlos Creek Winery on what turned out to be one of the most perfect August days for an outdoor ceremony. Everyone was so relaxed and enjoyed the entire day, and I had no shortage of beautiful places, details, and great moments to photograph.
Guys take about two seconds to get ready in comparison to girls – ha! They had some drinks and time to hang out before heading over to the venue in what I think is the coolest “man cave” ever!
I love Justin’s reaction during the first look moment.
Here’s Riley – stealing the show! :)
Being an outdoor ceremony, we photographers are able to move around more without distracting guests. I love the moments with the parents we were able to get.
Each table was surprised with their very own cheesecake – with sparklers! It was a fun race for us to get as many photos as we could before the sparklers burned up. :)
Perk of the job – I get go into super unique places I otherwise wouldn’t be allowed into. The Winery so generously let us photograph in the cellar. Love!
A big internet hug to you, Allana and Justin. And Riley. ;) Cheers!!!
