Jeff and Theresa were married in a beautiful intimate ceremony at Oxbow Park just outside of Rochester. We started with one of the most fun and unique experiences I’ve had the opportunity to photograph – we got to meet and hold Owls (and another type of bird, but I can’t remember what… Sorry little guy)!
The private ceremony was held at a meadow clearing just off of some of Oxbow’s trails. The view was incredible!
The right photo below is one of my favorites. So adorable!
After the ceremony we headed back to a tent just off the river for toasts and food. It was perfect.
Jeff and Theresa, thank you so much for including me on such a special day. Congratulations and best wishes on your move and the next chapter! :)
Madi and Mike are basically the two coolest people you’ll ever meet. Not only because they have great taste in music, food and culture, but because they were also so patient waiting for this blog because their wedding was in February – ha! Really truly, we couldn’t have asked for a better day through and through. Everything was at the Raddison Blu Hotel and we were lucky enough to land on a freakishly warm day in February (I think it was 60’s?) so we were able to go outside for some pictures. Yay!
The black/gray wall outside of the hotel not only provided us with easy lighting, but was the perfect palette and look for the style of their wedding.
Madi is GORGEOUS and looks fierce in this photo!
Madi’s veil fell out and I have to admit – sometimes the “oops” part of a wedding day make for some of the most memorable and cute moments. Isn’t that photo adorable?
Thank you to my brave assistant Karin for snapping this nice photo of the Raddison… I’m sure she was probably standing on a median or something to grab this. That’s dedication! :) Note the ring shot highlighting the Amy Winehouse song selection. See, I told you they have great taste in music!
The dance floor was packed!
Madi and Mike, you two have been the BEST EVER and I cannot thank you enough for everything!!!
A dramatic slow clap for this team of vendors!

I was the lucky photographer who got to celebrate bringing in the 2016 new year with Elizabeth and Jason! I joked that I’m used to Ryan Seacrest and cream cheese dips on my new years… so this was a bit of a step up! Both Ceremony and Reception were at the Lafayette Club. A big thank you to Nicolle with Mother of the Bride wedding planning for helping to put together such an amazing event!
What an incredible end to 2015!

I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to bring in the end of my fall wedding season with. Mekaela and Mike were married at St. Mary’s Greek Orthodox Church (beautiful!) with reception at Calhoun Beach Club. This couple has style- and I was totally in love with Mekaela’s dress!
Fun fact – did yo know Mike was in the Mighty Ducks movie.. and met Emilio Estevez? :)
Mekaela is gorgeous. But also simultaneously the most chill bride ever!
Greek Orthodox ceremonies are so rich in tradition, and photographs beautifully.
The below is one of my favorite images!
I had to sneak the below pics in… this is Kristin and Drew, who are an old married couple now. ;) I photographed their wedding years ago and this is their little guy Kellen. Michael is Kristin’s brother and it was really fun seeing everyone again. I am so thankful to have met Kristin and Drew because they were my cheerleaders from the get go, and I’m only blogging this wedding, and many others, thanks to them!
Cheers, to the new Mr. and Mrs. – I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to end my fall wedding season with! :)
