Kellie and Ryan’s day was beautiful.. and an adventure! While shooting indoors isn’t a problem, let’s be honest – I really want to be able to give couples their beautiful green outdoor photos if possible. I’ve photographed many weddings on rainy days, but this one was particularly challenging because the weather kept going back and fourth between clear enough, and full on stormy! We would be outside thinking the rain had passed, and then in a few minutes we would be running inside. Thankfully we were able to capture the images we wanted, and Kelli and Ryan were champions dealing with the sometimes icky weather. In the end, everyone rolled with it, had a great time, and made some great memories. I also loved this day because it is another wedding brought to you by my friend Rita with Premier Planning Services! :) The ceremony at Wayzata Community Church and reception at Interlachen Country Club in Edina. Enjoy the pics!
Kellie is sooooo beautiful.
Lookin’ good, guys!
My 2nd photographer was with the guys. I have no idea what they are all laughing at, but I love these pics!
A first look, staying out of the rain. Kellie and Ryan were just a little excited to see each other!
It was still sprinkling a little, but Kellie and Ryan were champions and powered through it. Not that we couldn’t have packed it up and gone indoors, but look at this setting – we all wanted to grab some outdoor pics because we had such a gorgeous spot for it!
… the gorgeous group of ladies!
I love this pic. It just reads classic.
We had a large bridal party and were dodging between a light sprinkle and an all out rain storm – so we all had to rally together to get the shot. A big shout out to this group for being so corporative so we could make these pics happen!
Off to Wayzata community church to get married! :)
Recessional pics are some of my favorites… I love seeing not only the bride and groom’s smiling faces, but the parents, too!
Lots of classic, elegant, and pretty details coming your way! :)
I realize there are lots and lots of cake cutting pics here… but I just had to many favorite moments and reactions I shared them all. :)
… and I was SO thankful we captured these images! You’d never know by looking at the pics below that it was a very stormy day out prior to the sunset. I’m so glad the clouds parted and we had a little time to sneak away and take these pics, they are some of my favorites!
The reception had great toasts – and was filled with tons of love and laughter!
I think these two photos of Kellie and her dad are just the sweetest!
Once again, thank you to a great team of vendors who pulled together and made this happen!

I have a special place in my heart for Ginny and Mark! These two have a contagious joy an love that is undeniable. You guys, Karin and I had the greatest time – you, your friends and your families were so fun, and incredibly kind to us. Thank you SO much for inviting us to be a part of your wedding day!
Ceremony was at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (which is so pretty that when I went to tour it, my three year old daughter called it the “castle church”) and reception at Woodhill Country Club. Another awesome part of this wedding? We got to work with my talented friend Cally with Mother of the Bride wedding planning. Wahoo!
Looking good, guys!
This is one of my favorite pics – these two are pretty excited to be married. :)
Epic fluffy cloud wide angle shot of church and couple, coming your way!
These were a fantastic group of bridesmaids!!
We really lucked out, with one of the most beautiful days of weather possible in July!
Hands down, some of the best toasts I have ever heard!
The dance floor was packed!
A slow motion, freeze frame at the end, Saved By The Bell high five moment for a fantastic team of vendors!

Samantha (Sam) and Aaron – are two of the nicest people… and thanks to Rachelle with Style Architects the details of this wedding were a dream to photograph! The ceremony was at St. Joseph’s in St. Paul (who I want to give a special shout out because they are so nice there!), with reception at A’Bulae. Prepare yourselves for a mega blog post. I had a difficult time limiting the photos I wanted to post. Enjoy! :)
My amazing 2nd photographer took these portraits of Aaron. Lookin’ good Aaron!
The photos of Sam getting ready with her little pup nearby are the cutest! :)
Before the first look with Aaron, Sam had a “first look” with her dad. So sweet!
Time to explain the photo above: Aaron plays hockey, so I asked if any other other guys are hockey people. They are, so I joked that “it’s taking everything in me to not make you do the flying V right now.” To which they responded “yeah, let’s do it!” So we did the flying V while I yelled “Emilio, Emilio!” #lifegoalcomplete
This setting was perfection for the styling and color palette of this wedding!
Yeah, a lot of pics of Sam. Sorry I couldn’t help myself… she was such a stunning bride and I couldn’t make up my mind on which pics to post!
Loved the styling of the cocktail hour patio.
Details, details, details!
One of my favorite things about these first dance photos are the family and loved ones behind Sam and Aaron.
This style of reception mixed dancing and dinner – never a dull moment!
The timeline allowed us to go out for sunset photos, which we don’t always have the opportunity to do. Gorgeous lighting, veil, and couple. Nailed it!
A huge thank you to my friend and talented photographer Katie Thering for being such an amazing 2nd photographer!
Bravo, to a fantastic dream team of vendors!

Elizabeth, you are so pretty!
Amit was just a little excited to see Elizabeth- these photos are so adorable!
A beautiful tent setup at the club.
It was WINDY and I was worried the storm was going to happen over our ceremony… Luckily, while it was super windy, the storm passed us by!
These two had so many sweet moments during the ceremony, some of my all-time favorite ceremony pics happened here!
The black and white pic on the right is one of my favorites. :)
Now for lots of pretty details!!
I included a picture of the salad (below) because it was the BEST salad I’ve ever had at a wedding. YUM!
A killer dessert bar… MMMMmmmm!
The R Factor always delivers a great party!
